Bob Hogan, President and Founder
Bob’s advertising/marketing communications experience spans 30+ years. He has held management positions on both creative and account sides, has worked in a wide range of
general consumer and consumer healthcare categories, has edited publications about advertising, and has suffocated at large, global agencies as well as starved building his own, successful boutique.
From 2002 – 2007, Bob ran Saatchi & Saatchi Consumer Healthcare, transforming it from
a small, fragmented joint venture into the leading direct-to-consumer (DTC) agency in the industry. In 2005 and 2006, the company was named DTC Agency of the Year. Brand assignments won and managed during his tenure included Nexium, Crestor, Seroquel, Pumicort, Ambien CR, Detrol LA, Enbrel, Chantix, FrontLine Plus, Plavix, Transitions Lenses, Levitra and Clarinex.
For 12 years prior to Saatchi, Bob had his own ad agency in Stamford, CT, R.W. Hogan Associates, Inc., where he was President and Creative Director. He worked with several corporate and business clients including Oxford Health Plans, Dun & Bradstreet and Pitney Bowes, helping them successfully craft defining communications programs.
Bob’s earlier experience included Compton Advertising and Ally & Gargano, where he worked on such major brands as Ivory Soap, Tylenol, Federal Express, MCI and Timberland Shoes. He graduated from Harvard College with a B.A. in Social Relations.
An accomplished writer, Bob wrote a monthly column for Inside Print Magazine, of which he was also the Editorial Director. He has published articles in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, GQ, Newsweek and American Baby.
Bill Connors, Creative Director
Over the last 20 years, Bill has grown from a copywriter generating daily print ads for an airline into a creative director with 360 expertise. His work on global, national and regional campaigns has won every kind of award, and he considers every single website, TV commercial, print campaign, direct mail piece, and viral film a unique opportunity to create
a wondrous new connection between his clients and their customers.
For the last three years, Bill has provided creative leadership on a wide range of integrated campaigns, from developing a whole new set of rules for golf in his TopFlite D2 campaign, starring ESPN’s Kenny Mayne in viral films, website content and TV commercials, to creating print, web films, and TV spots for Fram made up almost wholly of people making engine sounds with their mouths. He is honored to have had the opportunity last year to be part of the amazing work done by the Save Darfur coalition.
From 2000 – 2005, Bill co-founded and grew Masius New York from a start-up of three masochistic pioneers to a thriving agency of almost forty people. During that time he guided global initiatives for Philips, ACE Ltd., Lord Abbett , and Standard & Poor’s, as well as national and regional multimedia campaigns for Touchstone Energy, Pfizer, Jefferies, Inova, and Investorforce.com.
Bill grew up over the course of eight years at Ogilvy New York, creating campaigns for American Express, Hershey’s, Ford, Unilever, Shell, Travel & Leisure, Hardee’s Food Systems, and Ryder. He graduated from Georgetown University with a B.A. in English.
